Eda has worked as an actress on stage in New York regional theatre and in film and television. She has co-produced off-off-television, a series of live one-act plays on cable television.

Eda has also written and performed a one-woman show entitled: Looking for the New World: A Shtetl Girl’s Journey in America. It is the story of being a first generation American, born of Russian Jewish parents who came to America seeking freedom from the pogroms in Czarist Russia, but brought with them the fear and oppression they had experienced there in addition to a rich cultural heritage. The story is one woman’s journey unshackling from those fears to find her own freedom. It is told through story, dialogue and song.
